I am truly, deeply falling in love with this island. After the first visit, I kept visiting this island almost every other week, although I had to wake up early on a Saturday morning and drive almost 2.5 hours from Bangkok and back within the same day.
MY CRUSH ON THIS ISLAND
My first crush on this island is the beautiful, emerald sea. The sea is so beautiful, crystal clear. I can even spot the lovely butterflyfishes from the pier.
My second crush on this island? Its natural beauty, for the island truly is immaculate, being under the protection of the Thai Navy. The island is uninhabited, and there are no accommodation options for visitors and holidaymakers to stay on the island overnight.
Moving on to the third crush. The warm and friendly welcome from the navy. They are all very kind and always happy to help — Big heart for them 🙂
Before getting on the boat to cross to the island, I always stop by the nearby coffee shop which is managed by the navy. Not because the coffee is really good, but because it is too hot to sit under the sun waiting for the boat. lol
Another crush is the fabulous boat that whisks me from the pier to the Island.
Most of the time, I spend my day on the island lying on the beach and reading my favorite book (which I have not finished yet. lol), and snorkeling. If snorkeling is your cup of tea, you don’t need to carry your own mask, snorkel, and fins to the island. You can borrow snorkeling equipment from the Navy!
Of course, I wouldn’t forget to enjoy the beautiful beach. 🙂
Hours are passing by. The sun is setting down. Here are shots I snapped before heading back to Bangkok.
The island is very beautiful, isn’t it? If you want to visit this island and for more information, just drop me a line via the comment box below.
Luv 🙂

Do you know if there’s any transportation on the island? or is it walking only?
